Who Is Gypsy Rose’s Baby Daddy? Paternity Revealed
Gypsy Rose Blanchard shocked fans after her sudden split from husband Ryan Anderson, ultimately reconciling with her ex-boyfriend Ken Urker. Shortly after the divorce news, she shocked fans by revealing she was expecting her first child.
Who Is Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Baby Daddy?
Gypsy Rose confirmed the father of her unborn child by sharing the results of pre-birth paternity test on social media in November 2024.
“There’s been a lot of chatter around the paternity of our baby and while we’ve known for sure from the beginning, I feel that it’s finally time to put all these theories to rest,” she wrote in a lengthy caption. “Here are the results showing Ken is the father. Ken is going to be an incredible dad and we are so excited to welcome our baby girl into the world.”
The results of the non-invasive prenatal paternity test indicated that Ken had over a 99 percent probability of being the father. Due to Louisiana law, since Gypsy and Ryan’s divorce wasn’t final when the child was conceived, the baby was legally required to undergo a paternity test to determine who fathered the child.
Gypsy Admitted the Pregnancy Happened ‘Very Much Too Soon’
Gypsy married Ryan while still behind bars in July 2022. Four months after her December 2023 release from prison, she filed for divorce from Ryan in March 2024 and only weeks later, was spotted hanging out with Ken.
Gypsy has faced public criticism since announcing her pregnancy in a YouTube video posted in July 2024. Many have questioned the date of conception and have suggested that the baby’s father could be her estranged husband. In response, the Louisiana native provided a detailed timeline of the conception dates.
“Left Ryan March 23, had a period April 17, made love with Ken and only him April 27, 28, 29, 30, conceived on May 4 and positive test on May 24. KEN IS THE FATHER,” Gypsy explained in July 2024.
Ken and Gypsy later admitted during an October 2024 episode of “The Viall Files” that the pregnancy came “very much too soon” after reconciling their romance.
“At the same time, it’s a child. It’s a blessing. I think I had a whole cocktail of emotions in that moment, and I think I needed a minute to process,” Ken told Nick Viall. “Even after the initial shock, I was, like, [telling Gypsy,] ‘Let me call you back in like 10 minutes. I felt like I just needed to walk around and breathe for a minute.”
Gypsy also explained that when their baby girl arrived, they would not be living together as coparents due to the restrictions of her parole.
“So I am still living with my parents in Cut Off, which is an hour away from [Ken,]” the Louisiana native detailed. “I’m gonna be living there until I’m off of parole. So we’re like, OK, how is this gonna work whenever the baby’s born? Like, how many days could I spend with you, and how many days can you spend with me?”
