2024 Election

CNN Pundit Says Men Believe Dems Care More About ‘Dudes Who Want To Become Women’

CNN Republican commentator said on Sunday morning that he didn’t wasn’t sure Democrats had enough time to repair the damage they’d done with male voters before the 2024 presidential election, now just days away.

Jennings raised the issue during Sunday morning’s broadcast of “State of the Union,” where he argued that most male voters saw the Democratic Party making more of an effort to protect trans-identifying men than to reach out to “dudes who just want to be dudes” – and that has been clearly reflected in recent polling that shows Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign struggling mightily to garner male support.

“It was a rough week,” Jennings began, noting that Harris had slipped in a number of the most recent polls. “They’re struggling with — I mean, the front page of The New York Times this morning, Democrats struggling with African-American voters, particularly African-American men — this gender gap issue is real.”

“It’s a real problem and you see the Democrats reacting to it, and I think what they are now — finally in October of the election coming to realize — is that a lot of men think Democrats care more about dudes who want to become women than they do about dudes who just wanna be dudes,” Jennings said, continuing over the outraged protests of several fellow panelists. “No amount of hunting cosplay or cringy videos is gonna change it. The bed is made.”

Jennings went on to explain that the Harris campaign’s male voter problem stretched across racial and ethnic lines as well.

“Working class men, whether you’re black, Hispanic, or white, persistently, consistently, do not believe the Democratic Party and specifically Kamala Harris are gonna do a thing for them,” Jennings concluded. “They’ve been told that they’re the problem, and I suspect that come Election Day, they’re gonna rise up and tell the elites who told them that, ‘You’re wrong.’”
