A Big Apple mother was arrested and charged in the death of her 4-year-old son a day after the tot was found severely malnourished and freezing with a burn mark on his chest, according to cops.

Nytavia Ragsdale, 26, was charged with criminally negligent homicide and endangering the welfare of a child on Monday hours after the young boy, identified as Jahmeik Modlin, was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital, authorities said.

The boy’s mother called for help at around 7:40 p.m. on Sunday after she claimed she discovered her kid unconscious and unresponsive in their apartment just off Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd., police and law enforcement sources told The Post.

When the child was taken to the hospital, medical staff found the burn mark, and also determined he was suffering from malnourishment and hypothermia, sources said.

Little Jahmeik was pronounced dead early Monday morning.

Ragsdale was hauled in for questioning leading up to the pair of charges.

She was silent as she was led out of the 32nd precinct station Monday night while wearing a red hoodie over her head and looking down.

Jahmeik had three siblings under 8 years old, cops said, but they didn’t appear to be home when their brother was rushed to the hospital.

There have been previous “domestic incident reports” inside the apartment where the boy was found, police said, but it’s unclear what they entailed.
