Man who took off his clothes and wandered around It’s a Small World attraction at Disneyland was high, police say

A strange scene unfolded at the Disneyland theme park in Burbank, California, when a man began undressing He took off his clothes and wandered around the It’s a Small World attraction while other guests watched.

The video showed visitors to the happiest place on Earth looking on in bewilderment as the half-naked man wandered around the animatronic screens in his underwear. That video showed his clothes piled up inside the attraction.

A later video showed him removing all his clothes before jumping into the water while a park employee confronted him just outside the attraction’s entrance.

“I’m in Small World and there was a streak, I can’t believe this is happening.” read a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, by a user named Ashley Esqueda.

Visitors expressed concern that he might break the animatronic screens and also that he would fall and hurt himself.

A final video showed Anaheim Police Department officers taking the man away in the middle of the park.

Anaheim police spokesman Sgt. Jon McClintock said officers were called to the park around 1:30 p.m. and arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of indecent exposure and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Police said he was taken to a hospital as a precaution. The man’s identity has not yet been revealed.

Disneyland officials said KTLA-TV immediately stopped the trip after being informed about the man’s behavior. The ride was inspected and restarted around 3 p.m.
