2 men, 2 women charged after body parts found scattered on LI: court docs
Four people were charged in connection with severed body parts found scattered at several locations on Long Island, cops said.
Steven Brown, 44, Jeffrey Mackey, 38, and Amanda Wallace, 40, of Amityville and Alexis Nieves, 33, who police say is homeless were booked on charges of hindering prosecution, tampering with physical evidence and concealment of a human corpse.
They’re due in court on Tuesday.
Brown, Mackey and Wallace all are listed as residents of a Railroad Avenue home in Amityville that was raided as part of the investigation.
They are accused of removing “sharp instruments, multiple body parts, and other related items” from the house some time between Feb. 27 and March 4, according to charging documents against Wallace and Nieves obtained by The Post.
The two committed their dirty deeds in concert with other people to “conceal the crime of murder in the 2nd degree,” the documents said.
The charges come a day after cops unearthed more body parts at two other locations that authorities believe belong to the same two unfortunate souls whose dismembered limbs were found by a girl walking to school on Feb. 29 in Southards Pond Park in Babylon.
