NJ female prison guard discovered canoodling with inmate who paid other prisoners to be on ‘lookout’ during sex trysts: feds

A female prison guard was caught canoodling with an inmate at a New Jersey federal prison after her jailbird lover paid other prisoners to stand lookout during their sex trysts — and even had a pregnancy scare from the sordid affair, according to feds.
Jordan Pensak, a corrections officer at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, Burlington County, was slapped with a criminal summons by the FBI at the prison Monday and charged for a Jan. 8 sex act with the male inmate, NJ.com reported.
But the pair’s affair had been ongoing for over a year and the prison guard even joked about believing the inmate had impregnated her, according to investigators.
Starting in 2024, Pensak had sex with an inmate several times in an office at the prison while the inmate paid other prisoners to act as “lookouts” from guards during the encounters, the federal charge against her alleges.
The corrections officer — who hinted at having a husband in texts — and her imprisoned lover exchanged over 100 sexually explicit messages, photos and videos, the Philly Voice reported, citing the summons.
Following the seizure of her personal cellphone, text messages revealed Pensak allegedly admitted to having a sexual relationship with an inmate — and said the relationship had been ongoing “for the past year” in a text in January to an unnamed person.
Pensak also claimed to know that she was committing a crime, according to another text message from February and recalled getting “high” with the inmate at work in another text exchange from 2025, according to the report.
Federal investigators seized two contraband cell phones used by the prisoner, which contained numerous sexually explicit chats with Pensak and over 100 explicit images of the pair, according to the complaint.

Pensak allegedly had a pregnancy scare in January of this year when she texted a person, who investigators believe was a former inmate at the prison, “Im 3 days late for my period you ready to be an uncle?” the Philly Voice reported.
“That aint good for the investigation,” Pensak wrote on Jan. 29, according to the court documents.
“If the baby black and my husband white and Korean?!” she said.
Investigators obtained a search warrant for an Instagram account used by the prisoner, which showed the pair discussing their relationship from Aug. 2025 to Jan. 2026 and “professing their love,” the complaint says.
A search warrant was also obtained in May for an Instagram account investigators believe Pensak used to communicate with other inmates to discuss her alleged relationship.
The federal prison, known as FCI Fort Dix, is a low-security institution at Joint Base McGuire-Dix Lakehurst with around 4,000 male inmates, according to NJ.com.
Pensak was scheduled to appear in federal court in Camden Tuesday afternoon, the outlet reported.
