Kash Patel used FBI jet to watch his 27 year old girlfriend at wrestling show

MAGA infighting has erupted as FBI director Kash Patel has been left fuming at his “allies” after being accused of using a government jet to see his girlfriend perform at a wrestling event.
Patel’s girlfriend, 27-year-old country music singer Alexis Wilkins, sang the national anthem at a wrestling event at Penn State University on October 25. According to public records, an FBI jet traveled to and from the small airport in State College, Pennsylvania in a trip that lined up with the performance.
As he faces increasing scrutiny over the trip, an incensed Patel took to X to in a lengthy statement on Sunday, where he not only bashed his critics but also slammed “allies” who have failed to defend his actions, telling them: “Your silence is louder than the clickbait haters.”
“I am proud of the work of this FBI. We’re taking violent criminals off the streets in record numbers, crushing the fentanyl crisis, dismantling cartels, saving children, hunting down terrorists — and so much more,” Patel’s statement began.

“Let me be clear: we will not be distracted by baseless rumors or the noise from uninformed internet anarchists and the fake news,” he added.
The FBI director was particularly enraged by critics of his girlfriend. He continued: “I’ve always said — criticize me all you want. But going after the people doing great work, my personal life, or those around me is a total disgrace.
“The disgustingly baseless attacks against Alexis — a true patriot and the woman I’m proud to call my partner in life — are beyond pathetic. She is a rock-solid conservative and a country music sensation who has done more for this nation than most will in ten lifetimes. I’m so blessed she’s in my life.
He then took aim at those on the right, adding: “I and this FBI will stay laser-focused on our mission and continue the reform we promised — rebuilding this Bureau from the ground up. And to our supposed allies staying silent — your silence is louder than the clickbait haters.”
Patel’s statement received a community note on X. “People are largely not attacking Kash Patel’s significant other, but rather reacting to his firing of people who point out his usage of government funds to travel to her shows,” the context noted read.
Responding to Patel’s statement, conservative commenter Candace Owens wrote on X: “I don’t care about Alexis one way or another but I want to point out that the head of the FBI is tweeting out in defense of his girlfriend. Not a wife but a girlfriend. We are just not a serious nation whatsoever.”
Patel’s statement also didn’t go down well with many MAGA supporters.
One wrote: “No one is attacking her Kash we are calling out the hypocrisy of you taking the jet to go on dates with her just like you did Wray. Then you took the jet off line so we can’t track. I was one of your biggest supporters man but it just looks bad.”
A second responded: “We need you to listen to the people and be the stand up person we all thought you were before you got the job.”
Another commented: “We need you to listen to the people and be the stand up person we all thought you were before you got the job.”
Patel was reportedly so enraged over reports of his jet use that he ousted a senior FBI official who’d been at the agency for 27 years, Bloomberg Law reports. Steven Palmer, who’d been overseeing aviation, was fired on Friday, three people familiar with the situation told the outlet.
The FBI director had become furious over the stories published about his jet use and Palmer was told he could resign instantly or be fired, Bloomberg reports. Ben Williamson, the FBI’s assistant director for public affairs, also defended Patel’s actions on X, labeling criticizm as “disingenuous and dumb”.
Williamson claimed Patel has spent far less money on his travel than former FBI chiefs James Comey and Christopher Wray and claimed he pays a reimbursement in advance. “He’s allowed to take personal time on occasion to see family, friends or his longtime girlfriend. He doesn’t do it often,” Williamson wrote.
