Justin Baldoni’s Wife Emily Posts Sweet Message Amid Blake Lively Feud

Justin Baldoni’s wife, Emily Baldoni, showed her support for her husband with a sweet message amid his ongoing legal battle with Blake Lively.

“Happy birthday my love,” Emily, 40, wrote alongside a picture of herself and Justin, 41, and their two children, Maiya and Maxwell via Instagram on Friday, January 24. “Celebrating the man, husband, and father that you are. I’d choose you again and again.”

In the image, Emily and Justin stood on a ledge near the ocean and shared a kiss while Maiya, 9, hugged her mom and dad and Maxwell, 7, sat on Justin’s shoulders.

Several fans offered up their own birthday wishes, along with their thoughts on his and Blake’s public feud over what happened on the set of It Ends With Us.

“Happy Birthday to your amazingly talented husband,” wrote one Instagram user. “ When my friends and I see him on these interviews and people comment on “what a creep” he must be, we just shake our heads because those who know him just know that he is far from that.”

Another person chimed in and said, “The man deserves a Nobel peace prize for what he tolerated, for so long, with such grace and patience!”

A third commenter wrote, “Happy Birthday Justin!! So proud of you and your family!!! Keep pushing for justice.”

In December 2024, Blake, 37, filed a lawsuit against Justin and accused him of acting inappropriately on the set of their film. The Gossip Girl alum claimed that Justin’s behavior resulted in an all-hands staff meeting where he was given certain conditions, including prohibiting him mentioning his sexual conquests in front of her and other employees, no more discussions of cast and crew’s genitalia, no more inquiries about Blake’s weight and “no more adding of sex scenes, oral sex or on camera climaxing by BL outside the scope of the script BL approved when signing onto the project.”

Blake also claimed that because she and Justin butted heads on set, he had attempted to “destroy” her reputation with a “social manipulation” campaign. Justin’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, immediately slammed the allegations and said they were “false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt.”

On January 16, Justin fired back with a lawsuit of his own. In the documents viewed by In Touch, the Jane the Virgin alum accused Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, of “civil extortion.” In his suit, Justin claimed that the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star “deliberately and systematically robbed” him and Wayfarer Studios of It Ends With Us.

Justin also claimed that he was “segregated” from the rest of the cast at the premiere and included photos in the documents. The images showed him and his friends and family sitting in a room with fluorescent lighting, folding chairs and bags of popcorn.

“No one except the parties involved would have known that she used threats and extortion to relegate the colleagues she once highly praised to a basement to sit out their own premiere, while she enjoyed the spotlight of a premiere and afterparty that was ultimately co-financed by both Wayfarer and Sony,” the documents read.

Blake’s camp quickly bashed the claims and told In Touch, “The strategy of attacking the woman is desperate, it does not refute the evidence in Ms. Lively’s complaint, and it will fail.”
