Blake Lively Slammed as Insensitive By Justin Baldoni in Court War

Justin Baldoni slammed Blake Lively for refusing to provide him additional time to respond to her lawsuit after one of his lawyers was affected by the Los Angeles wildfires, In Touch can exclusively report.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, one of Justin’s attorney Kevin Fritz informed the court that Justin’s lead lawyer, Bryan Freedman, lost his home during the recent wildfires that raged across L.A. earlier this month.
Kevin explained that Blake, 37, served various defendants in her lawsuit accusing Justin, 40, of sexual harassment on set of It Ends With Us.
She claimed he hired a crisis PR team to smear her in retaliation for her complaining about his alleged behavior. Justin denied the claims. He accused Blake of seizing control of his film and icing him out of promotion.
He claimed Blake used bullying tactics to get her way and used her husband Ryan Reynolds’ power to achieve her goal.
Justin and the other defendants have until the end of the month to respond to Blake’s federal lawsuit. The director and his company filed their own lawsuit against Blake, Ryan and the actress’ publicist, Leslie Sloane.
The suit accused Blake of defamation and civil extortion. Blake denied all allegations of wrongdoing.
In the recent letter to the court, Justin’s lawyer said Blake and her team have until March 20 to respond to Justin’s lawsuit against her. Justin’s lawyer said he asked Blake’s legal team to allow him until March to respond to Blake’s lawsuit, which would give him a couple of extra weeks past the current deadline.

Justin’s team told Blake’s team that the extension was warranted because the cases were likely to be consolidated and Justin’s lawyer Bryan lost his home in the recent L.A. wildfires.
Justin’s lawyer Kevin explained that they needed additional time to coordinate responses to Blake’s complaint.
Kevin wrote, “The Lively Parties’ counsel refused to consent to an extension of time, contending that: (a) the cases are not yet consolidated; (b) the Lively Parties intend to move to dismiss the Wayfarer Case; and (c) counsel requested that the Wayfarer Parties waive service, but no waiver was executed. Insensitively, the Lively Parties ignored the effect of the Los Angeles wildfires on Mr. Freedman and his law office.”

Justin said Blake refused to agree to the extension, “even though doing is in the interests of justice and efficiency in cases that are not only related but likely will be consolidated.”
Justin asked the court to approve his request for an extension and allow him until March 20 to respond to Blake’s allegations in court.
As In Touch previously reported, Blake accused Justin and coproducer Jamey Heath of being inappropriate on set. She claimed Justin spoke about his sex life, walked into her trailer uninvited and improvised unwanted kissing scenes.
She also claimed Jamey showed her a naked video of his wife on set. Justin denied walking into Blake’s trailer unannounced and submitted an alleged text showing her invite him in while she was pumping.
Jamey said the video in question was a video of his wife giving birth and was shown because they were shooting a birthing scene.
Justin also denied he hired a PR team to smear her publicly. He accused her of being the one who unjustly ruined his reputation.
