Basketball player killed at packed Harlem tourney

Bullets flew at a Harlem basketball tournament Friday night, leaving one player dead and two others wounded, cops and witnesses said.

The gunshots rang out around 10:30 p.m. at the Kingdome Basketball Tournament in the Martin Luther King Jr. Towers on Lenox Avenue between 112th Street and 115th Street, police said.

A 35-year-old man who was playing in the tournament was shot twice in the head — once when he was already on the ground bleeding — and taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital where he died, according to cops and witnesses.

A man who identified himself as “Freak” said it was the first day of the well-known tourney that was supposed to begin Thursday but was delayed because of rain.

“This s–t needs to stop,” Freak told the Post. “I got kids running around these projects.”
