63 people arrested in violent NYC night as Knicks fans celebrate NBA Finals win

The NYPD made dozens of arrests overnight after the New York Knicks clinched their first NBA Finals win in 54 years early Sunday.
At least 63 people were arrested, and there were four stabbings and a shooting reported as the celebrations turned violent, according to cops.
The charges include assault on a police officer, criminal possession of a gun, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration, cops said.
Amid the mayhem, 10 members of the NYPD were injured, including one officer who was struck by a glass bottle.
Videos circulating the web show shameless destruction of school buses and personal vehicles.
A 17 year old boy was also shot in the foot.
The teen was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
Five school buses that were used to transport World Cup soccer fans to MetLife Stadium were also set on fire or otherwise destroyed by rampaging fans.
